MOST LIKED POSITIVE REVIEW: Good enough

Great glasses going strong for about 7 months now, my only concern is that the nose pads aren't very durable and I lost one within a month of wearing them, but like all of Zenni's glasses they only last for a year or two and i'm happy with them other than the nose pads (which can be repaired)... MOST LIKED NEGATIVE REVIEW: Beware of the flimsy hinges

These glasses are a cool style and people compliment me about them. But the hinges are flimsy and wear out quickly. Within 6 months of moderate use they became very loose and floppy in a vertical direction, not in the direction that the hinges fold. They are staying together though, so far. ... Similar issue - weld came off the leg - been wearing them with hot glue. Average looking and definitely not worth it for the price but then again Zenni only last for a year or two if you're lucky - so I knew what I was getting myself into. I'm not upset but I'm not satisfied either - I feel nothing.

Flimsy

These glasses, while stylish, are extremely flimsy. The screws kept falling out of the first pair, and then the stem broke after six months, I thought it was because of mishandling. The next pair broke after less than two months (again at the hinge), despite being treated with kid gloves.

Solid Frame, Weak Hinges
  • Pros Durable ,   Stylish
  • Cons Break Easily ,   Weak Hinges
  • Sizing Feels True To Size
  • Best Uses Driving ,   Computer ,   General/Distance ,   Sunglasses
  • Describe Yourself Casual Dresser
  • Lenses No Glare ,   Accurate Prescription

I used these glasses for approximately five months before a hinge broke. Since the frame itself is ultra durable I was able to fix them temporarily using adhesives which lasted until my replacement pair arrived. I loved the glasses but like the other comments said, the hinges are the week spot.

I've ordered this same frame my last two times, making it 4-5 years total. I also use them for my sunglasses. Never had a problem with the hinges or any welds breaking. I highly recommend this frame.

Nice, but weld popped
  • Cons Break Easily
  • Sizing Feels True To Size
  • Best Uses General/Distance

I liked these glasses, but after a few months, the weld on the hinge popped, and the left arm fell off. I glued it a couple of times, but it never held for long. For the price, I may reorder and see if I have better luck next time.

I wear these everyday and are great. Hing become loose over time but no more than any ANY other frames (that includes signature frames). Don't be fooled by the other comment. The frame is solid and can take the occasional hit without deforming. I strongly recommend this frame.
