MOST LIKED POSITIVE REVIEW: The Saddle Bridge is Exceptional

VS

MOST LIKED NEGATIVE REVIEW: Very unsatisfactory nose bridge

This is one of the very few metal frames which has a saddle bridge instead of the usual nose pads on metal stalks. The problem is that the vertical legs of the nose bridge to not touch the frame at all and that is not clear from the 360 degree view. The only place it contacts the frame is at the top horizontal section. Those unsupported vertical legs won't last very long because they are in contact with the nose grease all the time and will get brittle quickly.... Read the Full Review

LOVE the saddle bridge. It is so much more comfortable than the nose pads. I wear my glasses 12-18 hours per day and my nose does not get sore with the saddle bridge. I often fall asleep with them on and they still are not uncomfortable; and with the 180-degree spring hinges, they do not break.

Ordered a pair of clear distance/driving, and a pair of 80 % silver tinted sunglasses....They are great ! have had 1 pair of each for 4 yrs...and bought a second pair of each with a new Rx 2 yrs ago...I have sat on them at least twice...pop the lens back in the frame, and unbend it...good as new !

Good, solid glasses.
  • Pros Durable ,   Fits Well ,   Stylish ,   Comfortable
  • Lens Tint Just Right
  • Sizing Feels True To Size
  • Best Uses Driving ,   General/Distance ,   Sunglasses ,   Extra Pair
  • Lenses No Glare ,   Accurate Prescription

These are great glasses for the money. They aren't true aviators (not enough drop at the bottom), but close enough. My experience with Zenni is that lenses generally run a bit small for men. Full range of vision is not covered like true aviator, but adequate. Nose bridge is fine! Solid glasses.

Watch your P's
  • Lens Tint Too Dark
  • Pros Comfortable
  • Best Uses Reading ,   Computer ,   General/Distance ,   Driving ,   Sports
  • Lenses Tint Is Wrong Color

Too many P's. In the description of the lens: Progressive, Polycarbonate, Premium, Progressive (again), it got in my head that these were Photochromic as well and the 90% was then the maximum tint. Wrong. 90% tint all the time because they were not photochromic. So in spite of the fact that these were labeled reading/general use glasses in the order, I don't see how one can read with these. Also ordered some reading only glasses with 50% tint. These are too dark for reading as well, so there at least ought to be a warning that 50% is likely too dark for indoor reading. I could see 50% being used for beach reading so possibly a valid possiblity. We'll have to see how the returns go.
