MOST LIKED POSITIVE REVIEW: Trendy Sports Eyeglasses

I bought these glasses for use in contact sports (judo, Brazilian jiu jitsu) thinking that if I forget to take them off it is better to wear clunky, heavy plastic glasses rather than a pair of wire rims. Turns out that I have received a ridiculous number of compliments on the look of the glasses.... Read the Full Review

MOST LIKED NEGATIVE REVIEW: Bit to Big & Heavy, but OK for Sports

Bought these for my 11 yr old son, who had went through 3 pairs of glasses in 8 months!! I "tried them on" his picture, and I knew they were going to be too big for him, BUT they didn't look nearly as big on his picture, as they were in real life! I knew he would be "growing" as he was 11 at the time of purchase. They did not receive being hit with a baseball, or basketball like the other 3 pairs, but even so, I see they seem to endure! These flexible plastic are awesome for a child who sets down his glasses, does activities with Boy Scouts and plays sports. Son has since grown into the glasses (at age 12.5) and they are still being worn as his "back up pair". He thinks they are too bulky, and thick. He prefers a thin wire frames. My son prefers a frame weight of 15-19. These are a bit heavier at a 21, and he feels it. Btw- the Lenses themselves are approx 30mm, BUT you have another approx 3mm of dark black plastic around them... making them ALMOST 40 mm in height.... Read the Full Review

Nice and light, but not secure.
  • Pros Comfortable,  Stylish
  • Lens Tint Just Right
  • Lenses No Glare,  Accurate Prescription
  • Describe Yourself Casual
  • Sizing Feels True To Size
  • Best Uses Sunglasses,  Outdoors,  Driving,  General/Distance

Very good for sunglasses, except that arms are slippery over the ear. Almost no fiction on these glasses, and they easily slide off ones face. Had to adjust the arms substantially to bend them around ears...but do to the thickness could not bend them too much. Not bad, but I have to wear a strap.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
