Fine Glasses, but short on quality assurance

Note: I do not keep a glass repair kit. My neighbor had one, but all the screws he had were too long. I now need to buy a kit for $9 to replace a screw that should have lasted in place for over 1 week.

My second pair based on a retired model the 85 Classic (Clayton) frames.

It was really confusing at first because the older model measured the frame width by the front of the frame at 137mm. I was concerned because this new model I just purchased was listed at 129mm and rated as small. I wasn't sure it would fit.
So I took a chance and bought this new pair. The two pairs of frames appear to be identical. Apparently, the new frame width is being measured from screw to screw.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about fitting glasses and the frame widths so I wanted to address that. Outside of that I am a very happy customer! My only advice is to make sure you understand the frame measurements - especially width, bridge, and temple width.
