Great look, terrible durability
hace 5 añosI've ordered two of these frames over the past 2-3 years (replaced the lenses in the second of them with the old lenses) and I'm really disappointed. Both suffer the same failure: the plastic arms/hinges are not durable enough to support true daily wear. Both pairs have failed on the right side, with the right hinge eventually cracking and breaking off. The only reason I'm considering getting another is because I don't want to have to worry about my lenses fitting into another frame.
Its really a huge disappointment, because I *love* the look. This is the only aviator style frame I've ever seen with such a strong-looking bridge and the plastic arms look awesome with their thickness. The brushed metal/gunmetal look of the frame sets them apart from your general public aviators with a really nice semi-gloss/eggshell look on the metal. Its literally just that the arms keep on breaking. Otherwise, I'd give this five stars.
