Bigger Was Not Better For Me, and Featherlight Way Too Flexible!
hace 3 mesesI hate these frames. I’ve been ordering Zenni for a bout a decade now. I have tried different things over the years, attempting to find glasses that made me completely happy. My previous prescription, I bought #373712, and they were good, but I felt like a needed a longer temple arm length, and seemed still a little too snug, even with adjusting. I also got thinking that some larger lenses might put the frames farther out of my field of vision, so I would not see them as much. So, for my latest prescription, I got these frames #312012 - I regret getting these frames, and here is why. First, they are too wide, and fall off of my face! They cannot be adjusted effectively because the Featherlight titanium on these is too thin, too springy, and so all the recommended adjustments to the arms and earpieces have very small effect, and the weight of the lenses overpowers the ability of the skinny, highly-flexible, frames to hold onto my head. The nose distance is too wide, and adjusting will not stop these from sliding down my face. I have adjuster the ear pieces repeatedly, but they are still not song enough to effectively hook enough, behind my ears. So clearly, everything about these are too big for my head. Here is my problem. I have a big head, though not as big as these frames. I wear a size 7&7/8 hat, aka 2XL. People say my head is large, it really seemed like these frames would be an improvement over my previous orders, but it certain was not! Trust me, glasses that fell “too snug” are MUCH BETTER than glasses that fall off your face! Be super certain before you buy these frames.
