4.5 stars for Cute and Awesome Bi-focal sunglasses that just look like sunglasses.
hace 6 añosWhen my super expensive Transitions-fitted progressive lens glasses from a local high end shop broke on me during Covid-19 lockdown, I was relieved to find Zenni could still take orders and ship glasses. As I wasn't a fan of my progressives I opted for bi-focals this time, which I had from years ago and my bi-focal Serengeti's were my standby even though they're really old. Anyway I ordered a more regular pair, and I ordered these in the aforementioned bi-focal sunglass mode. They fit great, are snug on my face without being too tight (the other pair I ordered with a slightly different style fall off every time I lean forward) and I even wear them in the house, driving my family nuts as they can't see my eyes. My only annoyance is that the close-in reading portion of the lenses is made for someone with really short arms. Just like with the other pair of lenses, I have to lift up the glasses physically and get my arms to the right distance to read well with them. They so require staring straight down my nose, and that's just not the way I read, almost as if I'm supposed to be sitting straight and keeping it a secret that I have a book I'm trying to read. But then, I do have lenses, and I still don't know if our local optical shops are open....
