Great frames, hate the lenses
hace un añoI picked these frames for their wider measurements, and was happy to find they were not comically large or overbearing. The frames are a nice rose gold and feel sturdy despite being lightweight. The ridges around the lenses are a cute and kinda fancy detail I like too. Great frames!
As for the lenses, HATE them! I selected the EyeQLenz in red and I feel like I flushed my birthday rewards and my money down the tube. The lenses have anti-reflective coating on both sides, front and back. Why?? The whole point of an anti-reflective coating is to redirect the light away from your eyes. Why would they also put it on the inside facing your eyeballs? I keep getting lens flares in my eyes anytime I'm around indoor lighting.
Another detail I wasn't aware of is that the lenses have a blue tint to them, so looking out everything has a cool tone. Maybe this is part of the blue light blocking technology? It's not bad really. I just didn't know that would be a thing.
The pictures are to show the blue lens tint, as well as the pink anti-reflective coating on both sides of the lens.
The pink anti-reflactive coating is totally fine (and kind of cute!) but having it on the inside, facing your eyes, is so counter productive. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to wear these very cute glasses because the light reflections are so annoying and hurt my eyes after a full day of wear.
Buy these frames! Especially if you're looking for a wider fit. They're so cute and the rose gold is gorgeous. But please pick a different lens. I should have stuck with Zenni's tried and true budget lenses.
