Right Back at Ya: Zenni and Community Goods Team Up for Chicago Families

In partnership with Community Goods, Zenni was proud to help bridge the gaps in access to vision care and wellness education last July—just in time for students to prepare for a new school year.

Empowering Chicago Families—One Vision at a Time.

For many local children and families, the start of a new school year is a mix of excitement and challenge. Our goal is to equip every student with the tools and care they need to succeed. At this year’s event, we offered free vision screenings and interactive wellness education right in the heart of the community.

With support from dedicated volunteers and team members, we screened 57 children onsite—ensuring families would know where their children’s eye health stands before the first bell rings. It was inspiring to see so many families participate in our vision screening, and incredibly rewarding to help kids get back-to-school ready with the gift of clear sight. Everyone who completed a screening received a gift bag featuring EyeQLenz™ with Zenni ID Guard™ glasses engraved with uplifting quotes to help kids feel confident and proud to wear their glasses. EyeQLenz™ with Zenni ID Guard™ filters UV and blue light, reduces glare, and helps disrupt unwanted tracking technology.
