What’s Behind the Pink Sheen

The pink sheen comes from a carefully engineered combination of an IR-absorbent hard coating and an anti-infrared (anti-IR) reflective coating.

This duo helps the lens reflect and absorb select near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths—specifically in the 700–1100 nm range—offering up to 18% more NIR reflection than previous versions. The result is a lens that’s as functional as it is distinctive.

What Is Zenni ID Guard™?

Zenni ID Guard™ is the technology that gives EyeQLenz™ with Zenni ID Guard™ its unique pink sheen. It’s designed to reflect a portion of near-infrared light—the same type often used in many common facial-recognition systems and modern devices.

This subtle reflection helps reduce exposure to infrared light while adding a layer of awareness and comfort in a world where invisible technology is everywhere.

How It Works

• Anti-IR Reflective Coating: Reflects select NIR wavelengths away from the lens.
