I never liked plastic frames — turns out I just hadn't found the right pair.
15 days agoI've been wearing these glasses for a little over two months now, and I can honestly say I've loved every second with them.
They arrived perfectly adjusted straight from the factory. The only thing I had to do was give them a slight twist because apparently my right ear sits a little higher than my left — something I've had to do with other glasses as well.
They're extremely comfortable, and I've always loved this transparent black frame style! I ordered them with Zenni Blokz+ lenses and also added the blue-light blocking option, so the lenses have a slight yellow tint. Since I work on a computer 100% of the time, though, they've been very comfortable to wear throughout my workday.
I also have to give huge credit to Zenni's virtual fitting and measurement system. I've been wearing glasses for over 15 years and have always bought them in person from reputable optical stores, yet none of the glasses I've owned have ever fit my face as well as these — and I bought them online at such an affordable price.
As a software developer myself, I really appreciate the incredible work Zenni's development team has done with the technology that measures PD and determines the positioning of the glasses on your face simply by scanning the user's face. The whole experience is genuinely impressive.
I actually bought another pair along with these, which I intended to use more for going out, while keeping these mainly for wearing at home and during long hours on the computer. But these ended up looking so good that I've already been tempted many times to wear them out as well.
I'm never going back to buying glasses in physical stores!

This time I turned these into sunglasses!
24 days agoI have had a couple pairs of prescription sunglasses, but these absolutely knocked it out of the park! They look great as I had previously established with the Tamalpais regular prescription glasses.
I have a very high + prescription, among other abnormalities, which typically means my glasses never have that great of clarity, depth perception, blue/red light issues, etc. these glasses have out performed all of my other previous pairs. I will forever use Zenni so long as they restock these amazing frames. They are sold out for a reason!!!! Thanks Zenni!!!!

25 days agoFinally, substantial frames with a nice slick smooth surface and smart grey finish. I love these. They make me look rather old fashioned and plain like retro standard issue bookish but idc, i’m just glad they feel so smooth and sturdy.
