As good a pair of glasses as I've ever had!
24 days agoIt was super easy ordering these glasses, and I loved the chance to throw in a pair of single-vision nearsightedness glasses alongside my progressives. Zenni has all the best high-index lenses at a reasonable price, and I love the detailed measurements of frames and the try-on camera. And I got TWO pairs for about a third the price of the last single pair of progressives I bought!

2 months agoI want to start by saying that I understand the policy: once points are used, they typically can't be reissued or rewards returned. That said, I’d like to share my experience.
When I received my initial pair of glasses, I was genuinely excited. They were rimless with a blue transition tint—beautiful lenses and great visual clarity. However, I quickly noticed they didn’t sit quite right on my nose. I figured it was a minor fit issue—everyone’s face is different, and small adjustments are often needed.
I tried adjusting them myself, but nothing worked. The issue seemed to be with the left nose piece. I used the provided screwdriver to remove and even swap out the nose piece, but that’s when I discovered the real problem: the box where the back of the nose piece screws in was deformed. Because of this, the nose piece couldn’t pivot properly to fit my nose.
Assuming it was a manufacturing defect, I contacted Zenni via chat. The agent I spoke with was very pleasant and asked for photos and a video, which I provided. He said he’d follow up in 2–3 days after consulting with the lab. Five days passed with no response, so I called in.
The phone agent was also kind and explained that I could return the glasses for a refund. He offered a 10% discount to help offset the loss of my $10 off $75 birthday reward. That was appreciated, but I had also used $30 in points, which I would lose. That meant I couldn’t reorder the same pair without paying out of pocket for what was ultimately a manufacturing defect. He mentioned that if the glasses had rims, they could have just replaced the frame—but unfortunately, that’s not possible with rimless styles.
In the end, I decided to purchase a new pair with clear lenses for $40 to avoid the delay of returning and reordering. So, while I’m only out about $10 net, I’m still hoping this new pair fits properly so I can finally enjoy wearing them.
