A case in point is this full-rim, medium-wide, curved-rectangular, black and white tortoiseshell, hypoallergenic acetate Women's eyeglasses frame. As we said, and as the picture shows, it's black and white (well, gray and white, to be precise). But our tortoiseshell swatch is your basic tortoiseshell color combo. (Tortoiseshell, incidentally, is not based on the color of the shell of a tortoise; it's actually based on the fur pattern of a tortoiseshell cat, which can come in a variety of colors.) Just like tortoiseshell cats, we have a lot of tortoiseshell glasses that come in many colors, and various patterns that stretch the tortoiseshell category about as far as it can go without breaking. We hope this clears that up! And we hope you'll love this frame. We think it's awesome, and that's the truth, in black and white. Extremely lightweight, but very wide bridge
3 years agoI wish these worked out for me because I love the pattern of these frames and the matte finish, and they are extremely lightweight. However, the bridge is too wide for me and the nose pads project so far out from the frames that when I push them up on my face, the nose pads touch the inside corner of my eyes. I tried adding silicone stick-on nose pads, but they didn't stick very well because of the matte finish on the frames. The frames also angle down so slightly along the browline, that they almost have a "sad" expression to them.

Love my glasses!
4 years agoI love these glasses! The color of them goes with any outfit I want to wear! I get compliments on them all the time! Since Zenni is so competitively priced, I was able to upgrade my lenses and they were still less than $50!! My husband can use these too! We were the exact same prescription, so we can both wear the same glasses! He loves these too! He's been a lot harder on these than I have, but they have held up to everything he's put them through! Still no scratches and it's been over a year since I ordered them! I'll only order from Zenni for life!
