I understand why these retired due to the loose screws, but they were easily one of the most stylish frames this site has released.
10 months agoVisually, the combination of of hardware and acetate materials was just stunning, easily one of my favorites that I’ve seen from here. The performance/manufacture issue of the screws is likely cause to the style being retired, but like… they were so gorgeous, there is surely a way to create a similar style with an improvement to the hinges or screws.

6 years agoOverall, I have loved these glasses. I've had them for over a year and I wear them often. However, after a couple of months of wearing them, the screw loosened on the bridge, and they are therefore way too big on me (they were already too big for me, but I liked them so much I didn't really care). I was able to keep wearing them by tightening the tiny screw by hand after each wear. Although annoying, I still liked the frames, so I continued to put up with the maintenance.
