Love the lenses...be careful with these frames, they are vey fragile! Company replaced at no charge.
6 years agoI want to first talk about the lenses. I have had several pairs of 600$+ glasses and was very leery of these Transitions Lenses. They work superbly. The prescription strength is exactly as it should be and they darken and lighten as expected. The clip-on polarized lenses and yellow night driving lenses work great. But the FRAMES! Oh wow are they FRAGILE! I am an outdoorsy person and fish a lot. The frames on each side are held together by what appears to be a very small piece of metal. All I did was lay my forearm on these, when they were closed, and it snapped the little metal piece on both sides clean off, throwing out the lenses. I contacted the company and they are sending me new frames so I am certain they are aware of the problem. This is too bad too, because the frames are very cute. Hopefully the replacement lenses solves the problem. If another pair break this easily, I will be forced to change out the entire prescription for different frames, and it takes about 7-10 days to get replacements. Aside from that, the frames fit perfectly, are comfortable, and I really like them. Just a "buyer beware" if you choose these, especially if you have an active lifestyle or hobby where you are outdoors a lot.
