What’s Included in the Protection Plan?
Our extended warranty protection plan provides a full year of coverage for your glasses, starting from the day they’re delivered. You’ll receive one replacement within the warranty period, protecting your eyewear against:

  • Accidental damage

  • Breaks or scratches

  • Daily wear and tear​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

With this plan, you can relax knowing that your glasses are safeguarded from life’s little accidents and the wear and tear of daily use.

Please note that certain items are not eligible for extended warranty coverage. Exclusions include VR lenses, accessories, and gift cards.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Extended warranty coverage is currently available for glasses purchased within the following U.S. states:

  • Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D. C., Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

  • Please ensure your shipping address is within an eligible state. If it’s not, you will be prompted to update your address or remove the warranty from your order.

  • If you're browsing from outside an eligible state, the extended warranty option will not be displayed.

How does your extended warranty differ from your Standard Warranty?

  • Our standard warranty provides essential coverage for your glasses, including protection against manufacturing defects for 30 days from delivery, and extended coverage for lens coatings and photochromic films for up to one year. In contrast, our extended warranty extends your warranty coverage for one year from the delivery date and includes scratches, accidental damage, and normal wear and tear. This means that beyond just defects, the extended warranty also protects against everyday mishaps with one free replacement for your covered glasses during the first year. By choosing the Extended Warranty, you gain the added benefit of enhanced coverage and extended protection for your eyewear investment, giving you greater peace of mind.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What is not covered under your extended warranty?

  • While our extended warranty provides excellent coverage, it's important to understand its key limitations. The warranty does not cover:

    • Intentional damage or unauthorized modifications, such as placing non-Zenni lenses in Zenni frames or vice versa.

    • Tampering with frames, including bending or twisting flexible or titanium frames.

    • Damage from external or environmental factors, such as theft or natural disasters.

How do I submit a claim under the extended warranty?

  • To submit a claim, please complete the claim submission form. If you need more hands-on assistance, our customer service team can help guide you through the process over the phone to ensure that all the necessary information is collected.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What would void the extended warranty?

  • The warranty will not cover damage to cases or containers used to store your glasses, alteration or tampering of the frame, or any decorations or embellishments added after purchase. The warranty also does not cover issues with fittings, changes in your prescription, or any routine tasks such as cleaning or the adjustment of your glasses. By following these guidelines, you can enjoy full protection throughout the warranty period!

Is the extended warranty transferable to other products or Zenni accounts?

  • No, the extended warranty is not transferable to other products or Zenni accounts.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Can the extended warranty be renewed?

  • The extended warranty offers 365 days of protection for your peace of mind. While our warranty program is not available for renewal, this comprehensive coverage ensures you’re well-protected for the entire year.

Can I earn and use Zenni Rewards loyalty points when purchasing an extended warranty?

  • Yes! You can earn Zenni Rewards loyalty points by purchasing an extended warranty. Additionally, you can apply any existing Zenni Rewards points toward the purchase of the extended warranty at checkout.

Can I purchase an extended warranty after I’ve placed my order?

  • No, the extended warranty must be purchased at the same time as the eligible product. The plan cannot be added to your order after the transaction is completed.​​​​​​​​​​​​​
