Amazingly Comfortable Frames For Motorcycle Helmets!
7 days agoThese Coastal Cruisin’ Ti framed sunglasses are the most comfortable frames I've ever used while riding! I had the Blue Aviator sunglasses (1126816) with the flex hinges previously and those were great and the larger frames were a little nicer with coverage, but the Ti flex frame of this Costal Cruisin' model are truly a chef's kiss in the Shoei helmet. Super lightweight and so easy to slip past the cheek pads and liner! I wear a small helmet, so these frames are the right size for my head, but if you are a medium to large head size, these frames will feel small vs the larger Blue Aviator model. The hinges on the Blue Aviator were super smooth to open and close while these Ti glasses are a bit stiffer. I went with the Trivex Blokz, Standard Tint - Gray, Super Hydrophobic, Anti-Reflective coating options. You can not use polarized lenses with the motorcycle helmet visor unless you want to see a spectrum of dizzying color effects, so standard tint only. These are the fifth pair of Trivex lenses I've had over the years and are optically superior to any polycarbonate, marching any Trivex lenses I've gotten from the local Rx glasses shop, but at 1/3 the cost! I do wish the tint was a bit darker for use with the standard light smoke OEM Shoei helmet visors as on a bright day the tint is on the verge of not being as comfortable as the prior tint I went with on the Blue Aviator. P.S. Dear Zenni, the Oakley Prizm Road 20% VLT is my favorite tint of all time, but the available frames from them are not comfortable in the helmet vs the gloriously slender frames from Zenni. The Standard Tint - Gray actually has a bit of bronze to it, by my eye and I love the slightly warm tone. Please add a bit of rose if possible and I'd love to see the green tones of trees pop a bit more when out on the golf course. Any polarized lenses seem to do some odd things if you're trying to maintain laser focus on the ball in my swing vs reliable but often less protective standard tinted lenses. This goes for any other brands of sunglasses I've tried as well. Rest easy that the standard tints are very enjoyable with the Anti-Reflective coating, but I'm hoping to get all future sunglasses from Zenni and a more enticing rose that is disguised within a gray tint at about 20% would be the ultimate cherry on top.

Nose Piece Broke
a month agoThis is the 2nd pair of sunglasses I've had from Zenni where one of the nose pieces broke off. I wore my last pair for years with a broken nose piece and finally got tired of crooked sunglasses so I ordered a new pair. Within the first week, one of the nose pieces broke. While Zenni is less expensive than the optometrist, those sunglasses still cost me over $100! Very disappointed.
